ACW-MR4

4-channel pulse counter and dry contact (ToR) transmitter for remote meter reading of water, gas and electricity.

Hardware Type
  • Sensor
Connectivity
  • LoRaWAN
Use Cases
  • Smart Metering
  • Smart Building
  • Smart City

The ACW-MR4 enables the remote reading of meters with pulse output (water, gas, electricity) and also reports the state of dry contacts. Each of the 4 channels can be configured independently as a pulse counter or as a boolean (open/closed) state of the corresponding input.

Thanks to its low power consumption, the ACW-MR4 benefits from a long battery life, and is supplied with removable Lithium batteries.

Measurements are regularly transmitted by long-distance radio via Sigfox or LoRaWAN technologies, and configuration is performed remotely or locally using the ATIM Cloud Wireless® configurator.

Compatible with computer and mobile versions of the IoT web platform, data visualization, remote sensor parameterization and alert configuration based on predefined thresholds are made possible in just a few clicks. ATIM ACW products are also compatible with most other platforms on the market.

Installation and start-up time is less than 10 minutes: Plug & Play.

Commonly used in cities, industry and connected buildings, the ACW-MR4 is suitable for many applications such as:

  • Remote reading of water, gas or electricity meters equipped with a pulse output
  • Monitoring the open/closed state of dry contacts (doors, valves, switches)
  • Reducing site visits for periodic meter readings in multi-site or hard-to-reach installations
