WeMos D1 R2
WeMos D1 R2 is an Arduino Uno R3-compatible Wi-Fi development board built on the ESP8266 ESP-12E module, allowing the large ecosystem of Arduino shields to be used with an ESP8266-based Wi-Fi platform. It runs a Tensilica L106 32-bit RISC processor with 4 MB flash and integrates 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for MQTT-based IoT platform connectivity. Eleven digital GPIO pins and one analog input support I2C, SPI, UART, and PWM, and a CH340G USB-to-serial chip enables straightforward flashing with the Arduino IDE.
Overview
The WeMos D1 R2 is a compact Wi-Fi development board built around Espressif’s ESP8266 module. Its Arduino Uno R3 compatible form factor makes it straightforward to reuse existing Arduino shields, while the on-board Wi-Fi lets you connect devices directly to ThingsBoard over MQTT without any additional hardware.
