EG8200 Gateway
The IOTRouter EG8200 is an industrial edge computing gateway featuring an ARM-based processor and a drag-and-drop Zero Code programming environment that simplifies protocol conversion and data routing without custom software. It supports Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC UA, IEC 60870-5-104, and BACnet protocols natively, bridging legacy industrial equipment to modern IoT platforms. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual Ethernet ports, and Wi-Fi, with MQTT as the uplink transport for cloud and platform integration.
Overview
The EG8200 Gateway by IOTRouter is an industrial edge computing gateway built around a drag-and-drop “Zero Code” programming model. It abstracts complex hardware interfaces and industrial protocols into visual nodes that users connect graphically, replacing traditional coding with a Node-RED-style workflow. The gateway collects data from RS485, RS232, and CAN-connected field devices and forwards it to cloud platforms such as ThingsBoard over 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet via MQTT.
