The uPesy ESP32 Wroom Low Power DevKit is a miniature development board built on the ESP-WROOM-32D module from Espressif Systems, specifically engineered for battery-powered and energy-sensitive IoT applications. With a Deep Sleep current consumption below 15 µA, a built-in Li-Ion/Li-Polymer battery charger, and a USB-C connector, it is an ideal choice for projects where power efficiency is a priority alongside full ESP32 wireless capabilities.

The board retains the dual-core ESP32 processor with integrated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Classic/BLE, and is breadboard-compatible with automatic code uploading support. GPIO35 is reserved for battery level monitoring and cannot be used as a general-purpose output.

Features

  • Dual-core Xtensa 32-bit LX6 processor (ESP32-WROOM-32D)
  • Variable clock frequency from 80 MHz to 240 MHz with per-core power control
  • Deep Sleep consumption below 15 µA — ideal for battery-operated sensors
  • Built-in Li-Ion / Li-Polymer battery charger via USB-C
  • 40 MHz crystal oscillator and PCB antenna
  • Automatic code uploading — no manual BOOT button press needed
  • Breadboard-compatible form factor
  • MicroPython pre-installed
  • GPIO35 reserved for battery level monitoring (not usable as output)
