Click Connect on the device’s page. The install wizard shows setup instructions, collects any required input (device name, credentials, network settings), then creates the device profile, device, and dashboard in your instance and shows post-install steps with your connection details and firmware snippets.
Check out the connectivity guides that describe the process of connecting devices. You can also submit a request to add a device by emailing iothub@thingsboard.io
Every device in the library can be instantly simulated using the ThingsBoard Device Emulator so you can test data flows and integration without real hardware.
ThingsBoard supports a broad range of protocols, including LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, Wi-Fi, BLE, Ethernet, Modbus, LTE-M, Zigbee, and more. Each device page details supported options.
After integration, visit the device page in ThingsBoard and check the Latest telemetry and Attributes sections to confirm data is being received and processed.
The library features sensors, gateways, controllers, meters, trackers, and other IoT hardware.
