Upgrading Trendz Analytics to 1.8.2

Trendz Analytics package download

Download the Windows installation archive: trendz-windows-1.8.2.zip.

Trendz Analytics service upgrade

1. Stop the Trendz service if it is running:

   net stop trendz

2. Back up your Trendz configuration directory (e.g. C:\trendz\conf).
3. Remove the Trendz install directory.
4. Unzip the installation archive to the Trendz install directory.
5. Merge your old configuration settings into the new configuration files.

Start the service

net start trendz

Upgrading Trendz Analytics to 1.8.1

Trendz Analytics package download

Download the Windows installation archive: trendz-windows-1.8.1.zip.

Trendz Analytics service upgrade

1. Stop the Trendz service if it is running:

   net stop trendz

2. Back up your Trendz configuration directory (e.g. C:\trendz\conf).
3. Remove the Trendz install directory.
4. Unzip the installation archive to the Trendz install directory.
5. Merge your old configuration settings into the new configuration files.

Run upgrade.bat as Administrator:

C:\trendz> upgrade.bat --fromVersion=1.7.0

Start the service

net start trendz
